STEaPP offers several different MPA programmes. The MPA programmes are highly interactive programmes, which

remains among a handful of programmes globally that bring science, technology and engineering into public policy.

The MPAs are aimed at professionals who want to advance their skills and insights with expertise based on science and engineering, as well as those aiming to move across or up in public policy areas reliant on science, technology and engineering. We encourage physical or natural scientists and engineers, as well as those with social science or policy backgrounds, to apply.

The MPAs are designed to provide our students with the tools, knowledge and practical skills to lead change and navigate the decision making at the intersection of science, technology, engineering and public policy. Our various MPA programmes combine core content on policy making, analysis and evaluation with a specialist area focus and are programmes which can be further tailored to your individual interests and discipline through a wide and varied choice of electives.

All of our MPA programmes are offered in either full-time (one year) or part-time (two year) modes of study. Unfortunately, at this time we do not currently offer a distance learning option.

Our MPA offering covers the following routes;

Later in 2020, we plan to introduce a new MPA in collaboration with the UCL Energy Institure. This will be the Energy, Technology and Public Policy MPA (subject to approval).

Further details about the programmes, and their unique features can be found on our webpage and in our brochure. You can also read more about the modules that you will study on each programme.
